Sport Assistant for iOS

The aim of this thesis was to create a mobile phone application for iOS, that would be used for recording all sport activities of a person. The application can record activity using GPS or count the exercise manually, automatically at time intervals or by motion sensor. For recognition of moves while using motion sensor was developed a library called Motion Recognizer. The application uses HealthKit framework. The application also offers an opportunity of planning a sport activity by using Trainer objects. It uses Core Data framework while working with data and it backs up the data on iCloud.

This thesis describes concept and implementation of application assisting balloon pilots with guiding to a chosen target. Theoretical part is focused on basics of ballooning and navigation. Designed application uses proprietary OziExplorer files, clearly displays all information from external GPS unit connected via COM port and saves travelled path and waypoints. Important feature of the application is getting forecast of wind flow in various altitudes from the internet before the flight and analysis of information from GPS for calculation actual air flow during flight. In the end of this thesis the application is tested in real environment and its functionality is evaluated.

Inclusion in the Pre-school Education System

The rigorosum thesis deals with the inclusive education in nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It is based on specialized literature, an overview of legislative changes in preschool education and longtime experience of its author, a preschool special educator. The thesis consists of three parts. The first, theoretical one, defines basic concepts and cornerstones of school inclusion as well as the role of its main actors from the point of view of both positive and negative impacts the school inclusion may have on them. It also brings a brief outline of the preschool inclusive systems in Great Britain, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The second part gives an overview of the preschool inclusive education in the framework of current Czech education system including some information and experience gained during the author's professional carrier. Personal experience of visits to some nursery schools in Sweden and Finland is also included. The third part of the thesis brings findings of a quantitative survey oriented to expert and lay attitudes to the preschool inclusion. It examines the attitudes and opinions of some inclusion actors, namely professional teachers and parents, in the first years of its implementation providing a perspective on preparedness of the respondents for inclusion. Strategies and resources of help of assistant to student in learning

This thesis is about strategies applied by the teaching assistant and his tools of help in connection with the pupil in the learning process. The theoretical part includes the following themes: the inclusion, the position of teaching assistant and the pupils with special educational needs. The practical part of thesis solves the problems of two individual pupils with special educational needs visiting the first grade of elementary school. This part aims at searching and reflection of effective help from the teaching assistant to the pupil. The practical part is based on an action research that is divided into two parts. Each practical part is dedicated to one pupil. The first part of the action research dedicated to pupil J. solves a problem with pupil's seisures and his return to the learning proces. During the research, it has been observed that the pupil is returned to the learning proces through the quiet handling of teaching assistant connected with an eye contact. The second part of the action reasearch is dedicated to the pupil P. The problem of low self-confidence and often giving up of his work before its completion is solved in this part. Primary or lower secondary school teachers' perception of inclusive education

This thesis deals with the topic of inclusion and perception of inclusive education by teachers at primary schools. The aim is to explore opinions, attitudes of teachers, their experience and experience in relation to inclusive education, which has been implemented in the Czech Republic since 1st September 2016. The theoretical part describes the history and current concept of inclusive education on the basis of school documents, so far elaborated expert studies and other specialised literature. The theoretical part also introduces pupils with special educational needs. There is also a chapter devoted to school assistants. The practical part introduces the description and evaluation of the research. The research is carried out by means of a qualitative survey approach, namely using the method of semi-structured interviews with teachers from the 1st and 2nd grade of primary schools. Subsequently, the content analysis of the data is used and the interviews are transcribed and analysed so that they can be evaluated and the results processed. Results are compared in steps. n the discussion there will be a comparison of my acquired knowledge and knowledge of Czech experts and also the influence of teachers having a special pedagogy degree working with pupils who have special educational needs. Finally, there is an interview with a teacher who works in a special school as a representative of a different view of inclusive education.
Coping strategy in personal assistance

The work of the personal assistant is a helping profession that belongs to the profession with a risk of a high level of stres, especially in long-term exposure to inappropriate working condition that can, in the end, developed into the burnout syndrom. In the theoretical part i define personal assistance, stress, coping strategies, resistance and burnout syndrome. The practical part is based on nine interviews with personal assitants, focused on stressors, coping strategies and conditions of their work in the organization, where they are employed. I found out personal assistants considered as the most important sources of stress children problematic behavior, communication with teachers and parents. Personal assistants are struggling in their work with feelings of helplessness, frustration from the childs stagnation, with feelings of guilt for childs problem behavior. In their work they are dealing with parents in mental discomfort and with problematic communication with teachers. Gaining Independence of Clients of Facilities of Alternative Education Care in International Comparison

Gaining independence of clients in the system of the alternative education care is the cardinal topic of the work. Within the framework of the international comparison, the author analyses and makes a survey of the problems accompanying this process. The work does not contain only the conclusions the author came to based on the research in chosen countries (Czech Republic and Poland) but also presents suitable recommendations how the problem of gaining independence of clients of the alternative education care can be solved. The introductory part is applied to theoretical solutions, the international comparisons and examples of a good practice abroad. The author follows opinions of different experts in causalities of the problem from the influence of the biological family through socialization of the clients of the education care to the very problems of the institutional care. He presents these opinions subsequently in the context. In the methodological and research parts the author tries to answer the cardinal question: "What is way the clients of the alternative education care are prepared in order to gain independence?"
